This should be written in her 2nd or 3rd month in June or July......
The sleepy newborn I welcomed into our lives only a few short months ago is growing up. Today she is a baby on the move. She is more active. More alert. And definitely more amusing. Isn't it incredible how my newborn is becoming a little person?
Each day brings something new and unexpected strengthening the bond we share - just when I thought it couldn't get any stronger. My little wonder is touching, tasting and thoroughly investigating everything within her reach. Keeping herself busy - and keeping me on my tows.
As she discovers his independence I am starting to find a little more "me" time each day, too. Time to exercise. Or read a book. Or writing the blog. And another new phase in the journey of motherhood begins.
